Every woman going through divorce who has changed her name upon marrying faces the decision of whether or not and when to change it back to her birth name.

In one of my first blog posts, I introduced the sense of place that Diamond Hill holds for me in my life. Little did you know that there is also a Legend of Diamond Hill. I have heard varying versions from the locals, but they all go something like this…

It is the interior changes to our lives, our adjustments and refinements to our being, that last for the long haul.

One of the things I learned on my journey was the importance of values based living. Having a list of personal core values can serve as a north star for your life along the way. It can help you make decisions and assess progress on a daily basis. 

The story of Diamond Hill coming into my life is a story of shared searching, persistence in pursuit of a dream. It only later became a place of healing, growth and wholeness for me.
